ConnexOntario offers free, confidential help 24/7, so the service is there at any hour of the day or night. The phone line is 1-866-531-2600. Anyone who prefers to write can text CONNEX to 247247. A chat is also available at connexontario.ca. Each of the three ways leads to the same service, and none of them costs anything.

OLG's My PlayBreak lets a person self-exclude from Ontario casinos, including Great Blue Heron Casino & Hotel on Scugog Island. The terms are 3 or 6 months, or 1 to 5 years. To set it up, contact the OLG Support Centre at 1-800-387-0098, speak with on-site staff or visit a PlaySmart Centre. Once chosen, the term cannot be cancelled early.

BetGuard handles the online side. Run by iGaming Ontario since May 14, 2026, it covers all regulated Ontario gambling sites, including OLG.ca. The choice is 6 months, 1 year, 5 years or a custom term. The tool is at betguard.ca. It does not cover land-based casinos, so staying away from both takes the two tools.
